By creating an account or continuing to use Synthsize, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

Synthsize is an AI-powered business planning tool that helps entrepreneurs and small business owners develop business models, strategies, and planning documents. The Service generates documents and artifacts based on information you provide through conversations with our AI system.

Important: Generated content is for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute legal, financial, tax, or professional advice of any kind. Always consult qualified professionals before making significant business, legal, or financial decisions.

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials

• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to disable accounts that we believe have been compromised or are being used in violation of these Terms.

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise access the underlying AI systems or infrastructure
• Create accounts on behalf of others without their express authorization

• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Use the Service to generate content intended to deceive, defraud, or harm third parties

Your content: You retain ownership of all business information, data, and content you input into the Service. By using Synthsize, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide and improve the Service.

Our platform: Synthsize, its software, design, trademarks, and underlying AI infrastructure are owned by Cold Start Lab. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

Generated artifacts: Documents and artifacts generated by the Service based on your inputs are licensed to you for personal and business use. You may use, share, and modify them for your own business purposes.

Certain features of Synthsize require a paid subscription. If you choose a paid plan:

• Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) as selected at checkout
• You authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing cycle until you cancel
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Refunds are issued at our discretion and generally only within 7 days of the initial purchase or renewal
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. Market data, financial projections, and business advice generated by the Service are estimates only. You are solely responsible for verifying any information before relying on it for business decisions.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COLD START LAB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

In any event, our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid us during the 12-month period immediately preceding the claim.

You may delete your account at any time through the account settings or by contacting us at hello@synthsize.io.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if continued access poses a risk to other users or the platform. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with the changes, you may cancel your account before they take effect.
